Linked Up: Paging Through The Internet

GleeMy mom loved thinking about and talking about reading almost as much as she loved the actual act of reading.

In her absence, I’ve turned to the giant reading conversation that is the World Wide Web. Here’s what the Internet is saying about books, authors and the publishing industry this week:

Little, Brown will publish a series of “Glee” books… if only the pages could sing. [Entertainment Weekly]

In case you were wondering what the rich read, J.P. Morgan will fill you in. [Wall Street Journal]

A comic strip explains how the Kindle will change the future of bookburning. [GalleyCat]

Obama is taking some time out of his busy schedule to write the foreword for Nelson Mandela’s upcoming book. [New York Times]

  1. I don’t understand how the Glee books will work, considering the main appeal of the series is the singing. Maybe they will have lyrics and musical notes in between chapters?

I am more interested in the Sue Sylvester book “I’m a Winner and You’re Fat”
