The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Clay Amazes All

The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and ClayIt’s a funny thing I’ve noticed while reading Michael Chabon’s The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Clay. Everyone seems to love this book!

Everywhere I go that I happen to mention I’m reading it, someone inevitably pipes up that they really liked it, it was their favorite book, etc. So far, I’ve gotten this reaction on this blog, at work, and even at a bar as I watched Northwestern sadly lose to Illinois at Wrigley Field. Perhaps one should I ask why I am mentioning The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Clay everywhere I go, but that’s a question for another day.

As of writing this post, I’m a little over halfway through the book and I can see why so many people have such positive feelings towards it. It’s been a great read so far and the thought of having it to read is making me dread the stress of holiday travel a little less.
