A Little Thanksgiving Reading

Never Let Me GoSorry for my long absence, but I promise it was not in vain. I have a lot of books to tell you about now!

See, quite a bit of reading gets done when I’m home for almost an entire week, my number of friends in town is limited, and the TV in my room only gets 15 or so channels. Sure, I spent a good amount of time hanging with the family, which was great, and way too much time eating, which was also great, but that still leaves plenty of time to read.

So, here’s what I accomplished, book-wise:

  • Finished The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Clay by Michael Chabon
  • Never Let Me Go by Kazuo Ishiguro (this month’s book club pick)
  • Look Me in the Eye by John Elder Robison
  • Sleep Towards Heaven by Amanda Eyre Ward

It’s a lot, I know, but most of them were quick reads. And now I have so much to tell you about. So look forward to more information on these titles in the next week or two. In the meantime, I’m still dreaming about mashed sweet potatoes and marshmellows. Hope you all had a good Thanksgiving!
