Jaycee Dugard’s memoir A Stolen Life went on sale on Tuesday and it was quite popular. So popular, in fact, that according to GalleyCat, it sold 175,000 copies in its first day. That number combines print, e-books, and audiobooks and it is large.
I was not one of those 175,000 purchases. I’ve mentioned wanting to read the book, just not right this second. But I will, I will. It’s going on the TBR list.
As an added bonus, a portion of the profits from A Stolen Life will go to The JAYC Foundation, which supports families that are recovering from abduction and other traumatic experiences.
