Ever since our next book club pick was decided, people have been telling me how great J. Courtney Sullivan’s novel Maine is. Coworkers, friends of friends, etc. have all said that they read it and liked it or are reading it and liking it or are wanting to read it and like it. Which has all added up to make me more excited to read the book.
Speaking of excitement, my friends have threatened to be mad if I don’t post about the exciting weekend that just passed. It was Carley’s birthday, the last weekend of the summer, and, oh yeah, Andrew and I got engaged! We’re both really looking forward to the year that’s ahead of us. With all the celebrations going on, though, the only reading I’ve gotten done is bridal magazines.
